Love, Lies & Lunacy

Check this
There are two categories of being
Those who do too much
And those who do too little
Formal education is a trip
If I didn’t have good common sense
My child wouldn’t know ish
Parents have to crack open a book just like we crack the whip
Help them read between the lines
So they don’t end up on government assistance or lost on assembly lines
Rich Dad, Poor Door is a must read for the masses
Whether you’re hustling products or enrolled in classes
Pride in an alma mater?
They didn’t give me any accolades or degrees
I had to take ‘em
But I’m not a victim
Self pity and self-doubt, I evict ‘em
My own bootstraps I pull up
Because I don’t lace ‘em
Still, having a lot to lose makes me follow the system
Passions dwell between reality and obscurity
My top-secret clearance is my security
So the saga continues
I’m caught up
In love, lies and lunacy

    Deep insight ChUC,
I feel that degrees in the educational system amounts to a work permit. The higher the degree the better the job and the more invested in the system we become. Eventually we get bogged down with “life” and forget our purpose.
We all have to eat food. For most of us that means working in the system. But it is important to maintain our individuality of purpose. Also it is important to not get lost before fulfilling who we are.

That’s exactly what degrees are. The key is believing that we can eat and fulfill our purpose. There are some people who’s degree help them do both simultaneously. Others aren’t so lucky so the side hustles and special projects feed their passions.

Life is a balance. We must believe that we are more than what’s on the surface, then we do what you have to do so we can do what you want to do.
